Weekend Teaser: The battle for a playoff place intensifies

   Bees look to steal points from the Wildcats  Three point weekend keeps Bees in playoff contention   On Saturday Bees made the trip to Bristol to play the Pitbulls who are currently sat at the bottom of the league table. Having tied the series so far this season with two wins each it was going to be a close affair and with a scoreline of 2-2 at the end of regulation an overtime goal scored by Pitbulls was to decide the fixture. Bees goals were scored by Gianni Vitali and Marcel Balaz. Sunday saw the Hull Seahawks visit Slough and Bees knew how important these 2 points would be to keep pressure on the teams in the battle for a playoff place. Seahawks took a one goal lead into the first period break. Bees were to draw level in the second period with Gianni Vitali finding the net. Weekend Teaser: Just 14 games left to secure a playoff berth

 Bees secure win against the Sharks before narrow defeat to Phantoms Two points last weekend as Bees record best season in Slough ever  Saturday evening saw the Bees play the Sharks and they came away with a 6-4 win in a tight match where the Bees never allowed the Sharks to take the lead. Marcel Balaz scored a hattie with Vanya Antonov, Adam Rosbottom and Dominik Gabaj the other goal scorers on the night. Sunday saw Bees travel to Peterborough and goals from Brendan Baird and Dominik Gabaj were not enough as Bees were narrowly defeated 3-2.  Bees are currently 7th in the league but with 14 games remaining and just 3 points separating the teams in 7th to10th, there is still a lot of hard work required to cement that playoff place.  Player of the Weekend Results No surprise here as the congratulations go to  Marcel Balaz  who, with 66%, is our player of the weekend.for the third weekend in a row. Weekend Teaser: Bees move upto 8th in league after four point weekend

Bees deliver four point weekend Bees come out on top in must win games against the Steeldogs   The Bees and Steeldogs fans were treated to two exciting and close games and as the teams went head to head home and away. Steeldogs haven't had much luck in recent weeks but if they haven't been at their best it looks like they are turning their form around. In Slough, on Saturday evening, Bees came away with a 5-3 win with Marcel Balaz scoring a hat trick and Vanya Antonov and Ed Bradley on target too. Bees successfully defended a 5 minute penalty and Brython Preece who returned after being sidelined for a couple of weekends stood firm in between the pipes. Bees then made the journey to Sheffield on Sunday where the teams continued where they left off with another evenly matched contest. Weekend Teaser: Every point matters now

   A playoff berth is Bees goal  Tigers edge Bees after double header thrillers   The Bees had a double header weekend with the Telford Tigers, both teams looking to improve their playoff chances. On both evenings Bees managed to find the back of the net 5 times but Tigers managed to finish off the games with a 8-5 win at home and a 6-5 win in Slough. Over the weekend Marcel Balaz scored 4+2 and Domink Gabaj scored 2+4. This puts Dom on 66 points for the season and Marcel on 65 points which places them at 7th and 8th in the league's top scorers. There were plenty of other good performances over the weekend together with the return of Brython Preece to the bench although Brett had the nod for both games.  Player of the Weekend Results Congratulations to  Marcel Balaz  who with 62% is our player of the weekend.
