Weekend Teaser: Just 14 games left to secure a playoff berth
Bees secure win against the Sharks before narrow defeat to Phantoms
Two points last weekend as Bees record best season in Slough ever
Saturday evening saw the Bees play the Sharks and they came away with a 6-4 win in a tight match where the Bees never allowed the Sharks to take the lead. Marcel Balaz scored a hattie with Vanya Antonov, Adam Rosbottom and Dominik Gabaj the other goal scorers on the night.
Sunday saw Bees travel to Peterborough and goals from Brendan Baird and Dominik Gabaj were not enough as Bees were narrowly defeated 3-2.
Bees are currently 7th in the league but with 14 games remaining and just 3 points separating the teams in 7th to10th, there is still a lot of hard work required to cement that playoff place.

Next - Away in Bristol and home to the Seahawks
Bees make the journey to Brisol on Saturday where only two points will be on their minds. The Pitbulls haven't had the best of seasons as they currently sit 11th in the league knowing the playoffs are out of reach although they have managed to win two games against the Bees. Bayley Harewood and Brendan Feasey top their scoring with 43 points each but as Bayley is serving the second of a two game ban for high sticks he will not be icing against the Bees..
Sunday sees the Hull Seahawks make the trip to Slough. The Seahawks currently sit 4th in the league and have secured a playoff berth. This is the last game in the series which Seahawks lead 3-1 but Bees know they can get the win in Slough if they get their tactics right.
All that is left to say is safe travels to the Bees players and supporters heading to Bristol on Saturday and the same to the Seahawks and their fans travelling on Sunday. Come on you Bees!
