Weekend Teaser: Bees focus on keeping the Tigers caged

   Bees aim to catch the Tigers by the tail  Well earned 2 points for Bees as Hull meet their match   Last weekend saw two thrilling games as the Bees faced the Seahawks in a double header weekend. Bees made the long road trip up to Hull on Saturday looking for some points to keep them in playoff contention. The game plan wasn't on track for some time as Hull raced away to a 4-0 lead at the end of the first period. Bees fell a further goal behind in the second period before they finally got on the board at 36.07 with a goal from Gianni Vitali. The teams went into the second period break with a 5-1 scoreline in favour of the Seahawks. The third period saw the Bees big push as they brought themselves back into the game. Weekend Teaser: Hull double header, can Bees sting the Seahawks?

   Bees working hard to secure a playoff place Brett earns his first NIHL win against Raiders after disappointment in Swindon Saturday evening saw the Bees play away in Swindon where they were second best to the in form Wildcats. The Wildcats raced to a 4-1 lead at the end of the first, Josh Smith scoring Bees goal. The second period was tied 1-1 with Dominik Gabaj on target for the Bees. The Wildcats won the third period 4-2, Bees goals coming from Gianni Vitali and Marcel Balaz. Final score on the night 9-4 in favour of the Wildcats. Liam Morris picked up the man of the match, good job it's beer and not a trophy as he would need a bigger cabinet with all of his recent man of the match success. Sunday saw the Raiders visit Slough having been the better team in the two meetings of the teams over the Christmas period. Weekend Teaser: Bees aim to keep themselves in playoff contention

Only one goal split Bees and Wildcats in a 13 goal thriller Bees narrowly missed out on taking points from Swindon Bees welcomed the Swindon Wildcats to Slough for the first game in 2024 which was the Bees only game of the weekend. Bees took a 3-1 lead into the first period break courtesy of goals from Adam Rosbottom, Gianni Vitali and Dom Gabaj. The lead was extended to 4-1 shortly into the second period as Marcel Balaz found the net. Wildcats then brought the game level before Marcel scored again to give the Bees a 5-4 lead going into the break. The third period saw the Wildcats bring the scores level and take a 7-5 lead. Dan Rose scored Bees last goal of the evening but time was not on the Bees side and a 6-7 scoreline saw the Wildcats walk away with the points. Player of the Weekend Results Congratulations to  Adam Rosbottom  who received 33% of the vote, with Gianni Vitali our runner up with 24%. Next weekend Bees head to Swindon on Saturday before the Raiders visit Sloug...

Weekend Teaser: Bees head into 2024 on a high

     First game of the new year  Bees share the double header points with the Pitbulls   On Saturday Bees made the trip to Bristol to play the Pitbulls who were buoyed by a win in Swindon on Boxing Day and they were the team to have the edge on the evening with a 4-2 win. Bees goals came from Gianni Vitali who has 8+4 from his 16 games played and Dominik Gabaj who joined the elite few with 50+ points in the season so far (Marcel isn't far behind as he is currently on 49 points).  Sunday saw the Pitbulls visit Slough on Neon night and after a shaky start Bees finally found their mojo and we were treated to a performance reminiscent of earlier in the season when the team were flying high. Pitbulls were on top in the first period taking a 3-1 lead into the break. Bees only goal coming from Gianni Vitali but it was a superb one. Early in the second Bees could have scored as the puck lay in the crease but they couldn't get the tap in needed to put it across...
