Returning: Adam Goss

Both netminders are confirmed as Adam Goss returns

At last, the player announcement we have all waited patiently for and we can all give out a sigh of relief. Coach Sheppard has finally revealed that Adam Goss is returning between the pipes for another season with the Bees. Recording a .894 save percentage last season puts Gossy up there with the best goalies in the league and he is more than capable of improving on this during the upcoming season. The last couple of months of last season showed the Bees could compete with the best in the league and you can only feel that with confirmation of the net minding duo of Gossy and DWE and the new signings the Bees should be in the running for some silverware.

What's left for the Bees to sign?

Netminders completed, forwards are almost full but the one spot that continues to have gaps is the defensive side of the team. No matter the netminder, they can't stop everything and a solid defence will need to be in front of Goss if the Bees are going to be able to keep some of the high scoring teams around the league from finding the back of the net. You'd ideally want 6 defenders to compete throughout the season and a 7th wouldn't go a miss as team depth could separate the average teams from the top teams as the season progresses.
